Workshops
Feminist Pin Badge Making Station - 12.15-1pm
Presented by the Speaking Out Project (Women's Aid).
In this workshop we’ll draw inspiration from the pin badges created over the years for the Women’s Aid movement and showcased in the Speaking Out: Recalling Women’s Aid in Scotland touring exhibition to design and make our own feminist buttons we can wear with pride! Pin badges were (and still are) important visible symbols of the beliefs held by women involved with women’s organisations – from the suffragettes to Women’s Aid today.

This workshop is programmed as part of Speaking Out, a Heritage Lottery funded project that is recording and sharing the history of Women’s Aid.
